History

Florentino Martínez sells his wines in his small family-run wineries until the current winery was built in 1992, with a bottling plant and a building for harvest reception and storage.

The winery has been continuously updated in order to enjoy the most advanced processing technologies: tanks for controlled fermentation, destemmer, low pressure press machine… Ending up with the creation of a social area, a barrel exhibition area and a teaching room.

His wines come from a selected harvest in his own vineyards and from controlled fixed vendors with high quality vineyards, some of which are more than 50 years old.

In order to get the greatest expression from the fruit Florentino Martínez carries out a careful monitoring with a selective hand-made harvest.

Reaching the highest quality in wines has always been Florentino Martínez’s aim. From his well-known claret and white wines, he has achieved a wide range whose climax is formed by Distercio and Tanka, his most exclusive wines, where oak plays the main role to provide their incomparable essence. These wines are made in small-scale production, only the years with excellent-certified harvest, and they are made known in literary contests specially organised for the occasion.

Florentino Martínez is the name that stands out this winery in Cordovín with long family tradition.
